Athletic administrators, sports medicine specialists, officials, strength and conditioning coaches, athletic trainers and sport nutritionists:

YOU ARE THE TEAM AROUND THE TEAM.

You ensure that coaches and athletes have the support they need to access, participate and thrive in sport. You sit in a unique position to notice and provide a different vantage point, offering invaluable insight into the well-being of the athletes you’re serving.

Most, if not all of you are trained First Aid and CPR - why not Mental Health First Aid?

We know that this year in particular has brought in increased awareness of the importance of mental wellbeing and the number of mental health challenges that exist amongst all people, including in the sport world.

We also know that despite your willingness to assist sport participants in distress, you don’t know as much as you’d like about how to get them the help they need.

We want to help.

Imagine a sport culture where all sport professionals are equipped with the skills and support needed to recognize and respond to sport participants who may be navigating mental health or substance use challenges.

We’re committed to creating and sustaining the infrastructure to make this happen.

We’re here to be the team around you.

"Mental Health First Aid offered relevant, real-world scenarios + strategies on how to help."

- Rob Livingstone, Director of Sports Performance at Williams College, 23 years of strength + conditioning experience, Mental Health First Aider
